FPwhat1.jpgExternal Review: We look at your operating environment, clients, competitors, other stakeholders and markets, and tell you how we think short and long term social and environmental developments will affect your organisation's success. This will help you identify new opportunities and challenges.

(You'll need to provide background information about your organisation, products and services; tell us how you define your markets; and who your clients, competitors and other stakeholders are.)

Internal Review: We look at your organisation to get a clear understanding of the social and environmental impacts of your operations - and of your products and services. This provides information you need to make decisions about priorities for action and investment.

(We'll need information about your operations, products and services, and policies and procedures - some of this will already be documented, for the we'll interview management and staff.)

Also, if you need more detail, we can carry out in depth stakeholder, customer or competitor analysis; measure your carbon or ecological footprint; assess the social return on investments of a project; and so on.

We tailor reviews to your specific needs and the complexity of your organisation. Typically each review will take us between three and ten days. We agree a fixed price with you before we start.

 

We help craft the plan:

Whether it's the development of a new project or a fundamental rethinking of your organisation's direction, we help you find ways forward that deliver social, environmental and economic benefits at the same time.

FPwhat2.jpgStrategic Planning Workshop(s): We create the space for everyone with strategic responsibilities to agree, share, and engage with, the strategic direction of the initiative. We find the most resilient and effective outcomes come from considering the strategic plan an evolutionary process rather than a fixed output. We help you develop a strategy working document, including processes for continual review, and a working document for communicating the strategy internally and externally.

We work out a plan for one or more workshops, to meet your specific objectives and particular situation. Typically, including preparation and follow up, to deliver one workshop takes two to three days. We agree a fixed price.

 

We catalyse culture-change:

Delivering real results requires people to really 'get' what your initiative is about, and not be only inspired, but also become equipped with the skills and information they need. We help make this happen.

FPwhat3.jpgMentoring: We mentor key staff - one-to-one or in small groups - to develop vision and perspective; to explore creative approaches to breaking through barriers to change; and to access expert knowledge, resources and insight.

Whether you want a one-off session, a regular programme, or for us to be on call as needed, we can agree a package to suit your needs and help you get results.

Training: With our partners, Active Earth Training, we use outdoor activities in wild places to positively transform the way people think and feel about themselves, others and our natural environment. Active Earth offer management training to senior management, middle management groups and graduates.

Also, we help you deliver on other aspects of culture change, such as: developing policies and procedures, and integrating sound social and environmental practices into management processes - including procurement. We can help you decide when and how to communicate what you're doing: environmental and social reporting, and developing effective messages through marketing and PR. We also run specialist, continuing professional development courses for private individuals or groups.
